Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Our readers trust us to be accurate, fair and transparent. This policy explains the standards that guide everything we publish at U.S. Dispatch Report.

1. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made solely by our editorial team. Advertisers, sponsors, partners, political organizations and other outside parties have no influence over what we report, how we frame it or whether we publish it. Commercial content is never allowed to shape our news judgment.

2. Accuracy and Verification

  • We verify facts, figures, quotations and claims before publication, using primary sources such as official records, legislation, regulatory filings, court documents and published data wherever possible.
  • Statistics are reported with their source and, where useful, their date and limitations.
  • When a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we say so clearly rather than presenting it as established fact.
  • We aim to link to or name our sources so readers can check the underlying material themselves.

3. Fairness and Balance

We strive to represent significant viewpoints fairly, especially on contested policy questions. People and organizations that are the subject of critical reporting are given a reasonable opportunity to respond before publication. We avoid loaded language, and we do not present speculation as fact.

4. Sources and Attribution

  • We attribute information to its source and credit the original reporting of others when we build on it.
  • Anonymous sourcing is used sparingly, only when the information is important, cannot reasonably be obtained on the record and comes from a source with direct knowledge. Our editors know the identity of any anonymous source.
  • We do not plagiarize. Quotations are accurate and presented in context.

5. News, Analysis and Opinion

We distinguish clearly between content types:

Type What it is
News Fact-based reporting on events, decisions and developments, written without editorial advocacy.
Analysis / Explainer Context and interpretation that help readers understand what a development means, grounded in evidence.
Opinion / Commentary Argument and perspective from the author. Opinion pieces are labeled and reflect the views of the writer, not necessarily those of U.S. Dispatch Report.
Sponsored Content If we ever publish paid or sponsored material, it will be clearly labeled and kept separate from our editorial coverage.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Contributors and editors are expected to disclose any financial, personal or professional interest that could reasonably be seen as affecting their work. Where a relevant interest exists, we either assign the story to someone else or disclose the connection to readers. Our writers may not accept gifts or payments in exchange for coverage.

7. Financial and Market Content

Our coverage of markets, companies and the economy is provided for informational and educational purposes. It is not investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or financial product. Readers should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

8. Use of Technology and AI

We may use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, for research support, transcription, editing and accessibility. Any such use is overseen by our editors, and published content is reviewed by a person who is responsible for its accuracy. We do not publish fabricated quotations, sources or images, and we do not present machine-generated material as original human reporting without appropriate review.

9. Images and Media

We use photographs, graphics and other media that we are licensed or otherwise permitted to use, and we credit them where required. Illustrative or stock imagery is not presented as documentary evidence of a specific event. We do not alter images in ways that mislead readers.

10. Corrections and Updates

We take errors seriously. When we learn that a published article contains a mistake, we correct it promptly:

  • Significant corrections are noted on the article with a description of what was changed.
  • Minor fixes, such as typographical errors, may be made without a note.
  • Articles that are updated with new information are marked as updated where appropriate.

To report an error, email [email protected] with the article link and a description of the issue.

11. Comments, Complaints and Feedback

If you believe we have fallen short of these standards, we want to hear about it. Send your concerns to [email protected]. Complaints are reviewed by an editor, and we aim to respond within a reasonable time.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
